And we're back!

Happy New Year everyone! It's been about three months since I've been online consistently and it's been a very busy three months. In that time I began working for 24 Hour Fitness again (though I'm at the Elk Grove-Florin and Calvine site now), my husband had a "layoff scare" (hence the decision to work at the gym again), we had a wireless router break and need to be replaced, and my laptop went on the fritz and works when it wants to which is not very often. And most of you who know me know that I have very little patience for technology! However, in my downtime I've been doing a little homework and found this cool site where I can link a blog to my website. This way we can all chat together! My current workout habits are back to my old-school routines. I'm lifting heavy again about four days a week, splitting up muscle groups. Chest and triceps one day, back and biceps another and so on. I'm really enjoying it! My newest goal is to become flexible enough to do the splits. I've been told by a friend that if I want to ever do Taekwondo seriously I need to be able to do them. And since I'm hoping he'll be my teacher I am taking it as a serious assignment. Half hour of stretching my legs morning and night, every other day. So, that's the latest and greatest. I'd love to hear from all of you! This site is great. Make a profile and post responses to my blogs and other people's posts! Hope you are all having a wonderful 2010!

  1. Glad to see you are back. Of course you must keep us updated on this flexability training. I propose that once you find you are able to tear yourself in opposing directions that we get a picture posted for our amusement. Just a thought.

  2. I will keep you all up to date on the flexibility issue. And if it ever happens that I can do the splits, I'll post a picture of me executing a perfect axe kick to drop someone. Volunteers?
